Film description:
A classic rites of passage drama from the creator of \'Cracker\', Jimmy McGovern. When he loses all his social security money on a horse race, Danny Kavanah\'s parents decide they have had enough and lock him out of the family home. Danny decides on a fresh start and escapes to the Lake District where he finds a job in the kitchen of a local hotel. But Danny\'s life doesn\'t go smoothly. When a tragedy occurs affecting the whole community it seems as though Danny will be the scapegoat. Boxset contains the whole of Series One and Two.
