The brutal murder of a prominent financier in Edinburgh, brings Dr. Joseph Bell back to Edinburgh to help the police. As the investigation continues Dr. Bell\'s relationship with the Chief of Investigation is jeopardising a quick conclusion to the murder. Bells calls upon Arthur Conan Doyle for support, but Doyle sides with the Chief rather than Bell putting a strain on their long friendship.
